Example 1: A lorry uses 2 x 400 litres of diesel per week, 51 weeks x 400 litres = 40,800 litres of diesel per year. If the price per litre of diesel is set to kr. 6.75 (€1.04) excl. VAT, we then get: 40,800 X kr. 6.75 (€1.04) = a yearly expense of kr. 275,400 (€42,432.00)
Fuel savings: 10% of kr. 275,400 (€42,432.00) ................................ kr. 27,540.- (€4,243.20)

Fuel savings: 10% of kr. 41,310 (€6,364.80) .......................................... kr. 4,131.- (€636.48)

The following prices include VAT.
Example 3: A "Taxi" that drives 125,000 km per year and does 9.5 km to the litre consumes 13,157 litres of diesel yearly.
The price per litre of diesel is set to kr. 8.50 including VAT, we then get: 13,157 X kr. 8.50 = a yearly expense of kr. 111,834.-
Fuel savings: 10% of kr. 111,834.- ....................................................................... kr. 11,183.-
Expenses to fuelSMS for approximately 800 data entries: kr. 100.- per month including VAT .........kr. 1,200.-

The initial expense of kr. 125.- (€16.76) per unit is not included in the yearly expenses to fuelSMS, given that it is a one-time payment per vehicle.
